I'm unsure if this is associated with the other Jack's Coffeehouse but, they definitely have the same vibes. Warm, friendly, local service. The kind of place you know your eggs are gonna be cooked perfectly and coffee stays hot. Highly recommend these places for breakfast.

We headed to Jack's Cafe for brunch this morning and apparently timed it perfectly because our four-person party was seated immediately at a nearby table. One of the gals took our drink orders and soon after, our server Krystal (according to the receipt) appeared to take our food orders. We ordered a turkey club, a chicken fried steak and eggs breakfast plate, a cheeseburger and a double bacon cheeseburger. Everyone enjoyed their meals, the food was expertly prepared and well seasoned plus the portions were generous enough that a couple of us had plenty of leftovers to make another meal. The service was warm and friendly, the prices were reasonable and the whole ambiance of the restaurant felt welcoming, so we ate our meals leisurely, enjoying every bite and left the restaurant full and very satisfied.

Wow! This place is so retro and old yet totally a hidden gem! So glad we tried it before getting back on the road. It reminded me of an old Lyons restaurant, only much larger. I ordered the ham and cheese omelette with fried potatoes. The potatoes were so fresh and perfectly fried. Not overly salted either. They tasted like fried mashed potatoes. My husband loved his plate of chicken fried steak and fluffy biscuits with delicious gravy. Huge portions served here. The server was great too. Came by a couple of times to check on us and refill our coffee cups. We'll definitely be returning here next time we visit the area.

If you haven't dined in at this Jack's; you're missing out! Seriously check it out and do me a favor and have some scones with your meal. You can thank me later! My family loves breakfast and I'll make it for dinner, but when I don't we'll have it while being out. I can only say so much about a local joint that I love. They do it right all the way through. I dined in a few weeks ago with a friend on a Sunday. We were seated upon arrival, thank goodness because it was my post workout meal and I was starting to get hangry. I didn't hesitate to order my coffee, a water, my scones of course and a second order for my friend. I went with the eggs benedict; less guilt with my hollandaise on the side. My friend had the cornbeef hash and house potatoes. Old school humble diner ambiance. I'm sure the booths are original from day one. Who cares if they serve the best food?! The waffles and their ham steak are just a few of my family's favorites. Service was great and the our busser kept my coffee coming! The food is served hot and fresh. Prices are fair and you get a bigger bang for your buck. With the rates of inflation I'll take it. I know I'll be back in the very near future. This local joint is a must try!

Gayle and I had breakfast here this morning after spending the night at the nearby GSR. The previous evening was a celebration of Gayle's birthday, which included a marvelous dinner at Beaujolais Bistro and seeing Chris Isaak perform at the Grand Theater. We found Jack's via one of those "Breakfast Near Me" searches and the restaurant was only about a mile away. After an easy drive (that could have been a long walk) from GSR, we entered a family diner vibe, complete with booth seating by the front window. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. I ordered the "Man Handler" (2 pancakes, 2 eggs, and 2 pieces of sausage), which was very tasty and comfortably filling. The pancakes in particular did not bog down the meal like some "heavier" ones can. Gayle ordered from the Mexican side of the breakfast menu (see picture). That dish was more food than she could handle although she loved the taste and texture. Personally, having a version of breakfast nachos doesn't appeal to me, but there's more than enough variety here for everyone. We'd happily come back again, if we're in the neighborhood again. Jack's is also a good alternative for GSR guests who want something better than their offerings and don't mind the short journey back and forth.
